The Bold and the Beautiful fans have something to cheer about as Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has announced that she and husband Elan Ruspoli are expecting their first child! Wood dropped the baby bomb at the exact moment that Entertainment Tonight was on the set as the cameras rolled on B&B.
While some fans had been speculating that Wood was indeed pregnant, it wasn’t until last night that the raven-haired beauty confirmed the wonderful news.
According to She Knows Soaps, true to the dramatic nature of daytime, Wood was in character as Steffy Forrester when she spilled the shocking beans. Steffy was modeling lingerie from the Intimates line, when Wood suddenly shouted, “I just want to let you all know … I am pregnant!”
After her huge news, Wood was visibly excited, saying, “I am still shaking, my hands are shaking, my body is shaking, but it’s such a surreal, beautiful moment and I am happy to do it with people that I love.”
Indeed, her co-stars could not have been happier for the talented actress and mom-to-be.

Wood and Ruspoli eloped this summer and she is reportedly five and a half months along in her pregnancy, making her due date sometime in February 2019. Wood has not disclosed her baby’s gender.
Since Steffy just gave birth to baby Kelly in reel-life, Wood’s real-life pregnancy won’t be written into B&B.
What lies ahead for Steffy in the coming days? She is on a tear at Forrester, re-branding the fashion house by hiring up and coming, and sometimes totally inexperienced, people in order to breathe new life into the business.
She has also hired her ex-husband, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) a move that is sure to cause friction for his current girlfriend Sally (Courtney Hope)!
