The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that a storm is going to hit Genoa City in more ways than one.
The preview video shows a nasty storm that causes a blackout in the city, trapping unlikely people together in unlikely places. One couple is faced with a personal storm that could very well tear them apart forever.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) are in for a bumpy ride. He is not happy with her decision to move in with Adam (Mark Grossman). Even though she is only doing it for Connor’s (Judah Mackey) sake, Nick can’t help but question Chelsea’s true motive. He wonders if the change of address is all about Connor or if she might be developing feelings for Adam.
Chelsea’s choice will have a dramatic impact on her relationship with Nick. Can Nick and Chelsea’s relationship weather the latest storm, or will it be the end of the road for them?
While Chelsea and Nick deal with a personal storm, an actual storm causes a citywide power outage. Billy (Jason Thompson) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) find themselves together at a random dive bar. They band together to help get rid of an unruly and drunk patron causing problems in the bar.
Once Billy and Amanda deal with the obnoxious guest, they hunker down while the storm passes. They form a connection that could cause problems between Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Speaking of Victoria, she will ride out the nasty weather with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) at Newman Enterprises. In the middle of him telling her how bad the storm is outside, the power goes out. They will stay put in her office, as Mother Nature unleashes fury on the city.
Could trouble be brewing for Billy and Victoria? They each grow closer to someone else during a storm they should be enduring together.
Billy is making a lot of life changes lately. Hopefully, Victoria and their relationship don’t end up being a causality of the new life he is seeking.
