The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week’s episodes of the CBS show tease an investigation into the Kansas secret, a will they or won’t they between two exes, and tempers flaring.
A lot is going on in Genoa City these days. Life is in turmoil for many residents as the daytime drama launches one major story to kick off the spring.
There is also plenty of romance and heartache to keep viewers glued to their television screens.
Victor and Hope’s Kansas secret
Last week, the CBS soap opera unveiled a new story that will have a lasting impact on Adam (Mark Grossman) and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) strained relationship.
Adam is convinced Victor was involved in the death of Alyssa’s (Maria DiDomenico) father, AJ Montalvo.
Adam may want the truth to come out, but Victor does not.
Victor will do everything in his power to protect his family from his past. The battle lines are drawn between father and son, forcing Adam to show his true colors yet again.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) helps Adam put a plan in motion to expose what happened in Kansas. It will not go the way they wanted, and the fallout is going to devastate Adam.
Thankfully, he has Chelsea. Adam is going to need her by his side, the closer they get to discovering Hope and Victor’s secret.
Romance round two
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) continue to dance around romance. Their sexcapades have both of them questioning if they should get back together.
Now that Summer (Hunter King) knows about their trysts, they think it is time to define their relationship.
Phyllis complicates their decision when she suggests Newman Enterprises strike a deal with the Grand Phoenix.
Mixing business and pleasure might be the one thing that causes Nick to squash the idea of reconciling with Phyllis. One thing is for sure if these two do reunite, oh so many people will have an opinion.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has a difficult time facing life without Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). All of her attempts to win Tessa back failed, and now Mariah must deal with the consequences of cheating.
She is still hopeful Tessa will one day give her a second chance.
Fans can also look forward to a good old fight between Billy (Jason Thompson) and Nick. The latter is furious with Billy for what happened to Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Plus, Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) find common ground thanks to their childhoods and helping Jared (Michael Maclane).
It is going to be another entertaining week on the CBS soap opera, so make sure to tune in daily to see what goes down in Genoa City.
