Hold the presses, soap fans, it’s award season and the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominations have just been announced. Is your favorite actor in the running for the prestigious award? We have all of the pre-nominations here!
The final list of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences official nominations will be announced on March 20, but in the meantime, we have the list of actors from the four current daytime dramas who are eligible for that list.
Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominees: Outstanding Lead Actress
The pre-nominees for the Outstanding Lead Actress are a stellar bunch, with the category dominated by veterans and fan faves.
The crew from CBS’s The Young and the Restless include Sharon Case (Sharon Newman), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott), and Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman).
The other CBS soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, has Heather Tom (Katie Logan) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) in the running.
From the ABC soap General Hospital, Michelle Stafford (Nina Reeves), Maura West (Ava Jerome),
Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) have all been recognized.
There is just one actress in the category for the NBC soap Days of Our Lives, Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux).
Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominees: Outstanding Lead Actor
Lots of familiar faces dominate the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, with GH’s cast getting two nods for Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Jon Lindstrom (Ryan/Kevin Collins).
DOOL scored big in this category with Tyler Christopher (Stefan DiMera), Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), Drake Hogestyn (John Black), and Stephen Nichols (Steve “Patch” Johnson).
Three actors from Y&R were nominated: Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), and Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott).
Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) was the lone actor getting the recognition for B&B.
Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominees: Supporting Actress
The Outstanding Supporting Actress list includes three GH actresses: Tamara Braun (Kim Nero), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), and Vernee Watson (Stella Henry).
The list from DOOL includes Sal Stowers (Lani Price), Kassie DePaiva (Eve Donovan), Martha Madison (Belle Black) and Linsey Godfrey, (Sarah Horton).
Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland), Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis) were the pre-noms from Y&R.
Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominees: Supporting Actor
The Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series include Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Thad Luckinbill (J.T. Hellstrom) from Y&R and Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) and Aaron D. Spears (Justin Barber) from B&B.
General Hospital has three pre-noms in this category: Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), Max Gail, (Mike Corbin), and Wes Ramsey (Peter August).
That leaves DOOL with Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark), and Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) representing.

Who is prenominated for the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series? For GH it is Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson), Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome), and Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks).
The Y&R ranks include Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman), Sasha Calle (Lola Rosales), Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter), Camryn Hamm (Shauna Nelson), and Lexie Stevenson (Mattie Ashby).
Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire Brady) and Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady) represent DOOL, while Nia Sioux (Emma Barber) and Kiara Barnes (Zoe Buckingham) are listed from B&B.

And finally the list of pre-noms for the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series includes William Lipton (Cameron Webber) and Garren Stitt (Oscar Nero) from GH as well as Adain Bradley (Xander Avant) from B&B.
Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton) and Kyler Pettis (Theo Carver) are the choices from DOOL.
Y&R has three pre-noms in this category: Noah Alexander Gerry (Charlie Ashby), Zach Tinker (Fenmore Baldwin), and Tristan Lake Leabu (Reed Hellstrom).
