If you flipped on CBS hoping to catch The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to be served, you were likely disappointed.

The Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions will face off in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.
CBS is hosting the game, which airs on Thursday, November 28 at 12:20/11:30c.
It will take over both CBS soap timeslots, and another NFL game will air behind it, taking up the entire holiday.
Unfortunately, Friday won’t bring a new episode either. CBS is preempting its soaps for more sports.
Every year, it happens, and every year, viewers are confused when they tune in to see what’s happening in the lives of the Logans and the Forresters.
When will new episodes return?
New episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful are on the way, as the fallout from the November sweeps continues for weeks to come.
Bold and the Beautiful will return on Monday, December 2, in its normal timeslot.
There is much to sort out when the CBS soap returns.
Now that Carter’s plan has been revealed, everyone is up in arms about what happens next. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) betrayed Hope (Annika Noelle) and told Ridge everything.
More about Remy (Christian Weissman) will also be revealed. He’s taken a job at Il Giardino, and next week, he will cross paths with Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace) again.
Given what we’ve seen of him, we suspect he is the one who generated Electra’s fake nudes and caused her life to crumble. She is just beginning to trust Will, and Remy’s presence stands to mess things up if Electra isn’t careful.
