Supernatural has released a compilation promo for the last few episodes of the series’ 15th and final season. If you want to know what’s coming next for the Winchesters, here’s what the promo can tell us.
To be honest, there’s actually not a whole lot of new footage in this trailer. There are a lot of clips from previous episodes leading up to Galaxy Brain, including Jack’s smiting, Rowena’s death, Becky’s vanishing, and visions from those other doomed versions of the Winchesters.
What is new is Billie/Death’s revelation that God/Chuck has been away because he’s been busy destroying those other worlds of his.
This Supernatural promo reveals that Sam and Dean will be fighting against God
Chuck has created a multiverse of worlds, including what the Winchesters call Apocalypse World, where Team Winchester helped fight against the archangel Michael and his angel army.
It was revealed to Sam that his visions of his and Dean’s multiple deaths weren’t Chuck’s potential endings, but Chuck’s memories of the Sam and Dean of other worlds.
Now Billie reveals that Chuck is destroying those other worlds, and when he’s done, it will be their turn. He’s almost finished, but he’s saving Sam and Dean for last.
We know that Billie has a plan to stop Chuck and that she has resurrected Jack as part of it.
We don’t know yet what that plan is or how Jack and the Winchesters figure into it, but it might be their last chance to save themselves and the world.
The Supernatural family comes together
The new footage includes Jack confronting a potentially satanic snake in a garden and getting knocked over.
We also see Sam and Dean talking to a mystery woman, revealing that God is pissed and wants to burn the world. The woman looks slightly redheaded, so it could be Rowena.
Or it could be Anael (Danneel Ackles), who is set to appear in an upcoming episode alongside Genevieve Padalecki.
The promo ends on a humorous note as Sam and Dean invade a vampire’s nest, with Dean yelling out, “Any bloodsuckers in here?”
They proceed to cut off the vampires’ heads with Dean joking that the kill must have been some kind of record. “Ding! Bloodsuckers.”
Supernatural airs Mondays at 8/7 C on The CW.
