The new episode of Survivor: David vs Goliath brings loved ones to the castaways. It appears to be a very dramatic and emotional episode of the show.
As advertised by CBS, the tribal blindside from the last episode could have an impact on the Mason-Dixon alliance of Christian and Nick.
Last time out, CBS presented two episodes of Survivor, leading to two castaways getting sent to the jury.
During the first Tribal Council, it was Alec who was voted off Survivor. Then, at the second Tribal Council, it was Carl who got voted out, when Christian and Gabby decided to make a bold game move.

The Mason-Dixon alliance of Christian and Nick had seemed like a really strong partnership this season. It started when they were both members of the David tribe, and continued when they were split up.
It seemed like the merge would get them back on the same page, but Christian enjoys playing with Gabby a bit more.
The previews for the new episode make it seem like an implosion is coming, with both Christian and Nick speaking about how their partnership is over. This may be the case, or it may simply be a bump in the road to both former David tribe members making it further in the game.

CBS has also been heavily advertising that there are only three episodes of Survivor: David vs Goliath left this fall. There are only eight castaways left competing for the $1 million prize this summer. Could the latest Survivor winner be a member of that Mason-Dixon alliance?
Survivor airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
