Fans fell in love with Jennifer Welch, her ex-husband Josh Welch, Lee Murphy, and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan as they shared their lives and their passion for their hometown of Oklahoma on the premiere season of Sweet Home Oklahoma. Now we can share that the show is returning for Season 2 and we can’t wait!
Sweet Home Oklahoma, another unscripted show from Bravo that premiered in March 2017 and ran until August of that same year. Even though the show was hilarious and a success with viewers, Bravo never announced anything in regard to a second season.
But it sounds like Bravo wanted to continue telling the story about Jennifer Welch, an interior designer in Oklahoma, her quirky ex-husband, and her lovable friend, Pumps.
The network is introducing a new show called Sweet Home. It looks to be the new version of Sweet Home Oklahoma and will follow Welch and her employees at Jennifer Welch Designs.
The show is an interior design show and will document Welch and her team, as they transform homes and offices of their clients.
“I’m taking on bigger and better projects. Mansions, vacation homes, cabanas, oil companies, law firms,” Welch explains about her new projects, revealing that she’s growing her business.
It doesn’t sound like Lee Murphy will return to Sweet Home, despite being one of the main roles on Sweet Home Oklahoma. Bravo reveals that Jennifer will film with her new interior design team, Alex Hodges, Sarah Moll, and Sabah Khan.
Bravo has listed Sweet Home as the second season for Sweet Home Oklahoma on the Bravo website, changing the name of the show from Sweet Home Oklahoma to Sweet Home. All of the articles and clips from the first season are still available, so it sounds like Sweet Home will be considered the second season of the show, as they transition into an interior design program.
Sweet Home returns on Friday, November 2 at 10/9c on Bravo.
