The Big Bang Theory is offering up a chance for superfans to win a trip to London to see the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald premiere in November. Those who really want to win just need to watch the weekday episodes and pay attention for a special code word.
In addition to the grand prize of a trip for two to London, daily prize winners will be awarded $500 cash.
Entering the contest is simple. On the Big Bang Theory Weeknights website, those hoping to win just need to click on the correct magic “word of the day” from five possible words. If the correct word is clicked, it will take you to an entry form to gain an entry to the contest.
The contest can also be entered via SMS text message. Those wishing to enter the contest via text just need to send the “word of the day” to the shortcode 34490 (Standard message and data rates and other carrier fees may apply).
The Big Bang Theory sweepstakes runs from October 8 to October 19. Watch every day and choose the right magic words in order to enter multiple times, increasing the odds of winning.
In order to qualify for this contest, entrants must be at least 18 years old, able to receive text messages and live in the United States (excluding U.S. territories.) Other restrictions apply regarding employment, as no one associated with CBS, The Big Bang Theory, Warner Bros. and a handful of other companies related to the contest are allowed to enter. See the list of rules for further restrictions.
Keep in mind that whoever wins the grand prize must be able to travel to London between November 11 and 15, and will need a valid passport. Prize winners will be selected at random on or near October 29.
