On tonight’s The Spouse House on TLC, Ashley K and Tom play a game of Twister, where Ashley K dishes that if the other Ashley, Ashley Lauren was not in the house, she would have a much better chance with Tom.
As fans who follow the show know, Tom and Ashley Lauren were trying very hard to be a couple but were beset with fights and other problems.
Ashley Lauren felt she could not make Tom happy. And despite the fact she caught the bouquet at Kelli Jo’s wedding, the love match deal is sour for Tom who is now looking elsewhere.
Ergo, Ashley K. is moving in on Tom. The game of Twister is a handsy touchy-feely way to get to know him and she is working it.
This is the latest “experiment” from TLC where seven single men and seven single women live in a house with marriage on their minds. Whirlwind engagements and marriages are the focus of the series, where pairs are on dating steroids.
The first Spouse House couple to wed were Danny and Naya.
Each week, the couples are tasked with activities, and relationship experts Dr. Isaiah Pickens and Christine Hassler match up and help them find “the one” ahead of the “engagement ceremony”.
If no one proposes marriage, you get two people evicted for new housemates.
Couples that wed will remain in the house as newlyweds and still be influencers for the remaining singles.
The Spouse House airs Sundays at 9/8c on TLC.
