Netflix have released the full trailer for their new original animated series Beat Bugs — based on the songs of The Beatles.
The feel-good show aimed at toddlers is created by up-and-coming director/producer Josh Wakely and includes over 50 songs made famous by Lennon, McCartney and the gang.
All of the songs are performed by some of today’s leading artists — and the new trailer reveals they include Robbie Williams covering Good Day Sunshine, James Corden covering I’m A Loser, The Lumineers covering Honey Pie, and The Shins covering The Word.
At the Television Critics Association (TCA) Summer Press Tour Netflix also revealed Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson, Aloe Blacc, Frances and Tori Kelly will also take part.
An earlier teaser had already confirmed P!nk will cover Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Eddie Vedder will cover Magical Mystery Tour, Chris Cornell will cover Drive My Car, and Sia will cover Blackbird.
Beat Bugs follows five insect pals as they go on a string of adventures in the a suburban house’s backyard, and learn a string of lessons about life.
Other stars covering songs for the series include James Corden, Regina Spektor, Of Monsters and Men, and The Shins.
All the songs from The Beatles in the series are those that came out of Lennon and McCartney’s Northern Songs catalogue.
The first season starts on August 3, and a second season will premiere on November 18.
