Will Breman, from Team John, closed out last night’s episode of The Voice, featuring the Top 10 contestants, with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton on their seats.
Breman performed My Body by the indie rock band Young the Giant on The Voice Season 17, Episode 21’s Live Top 10 Performances. He wowed the coaches and the audience, and before the end of his performance, everyone was on their feet dancing to the music.
Before performing on The Voice, the vocalist from California went to Legend’s house for a rehearsal. He rehearsed his song with Legend accompanying him on the piano.
Breman couldn’t contain his excitement about rehearsing with Legend on the piano.
“There’s so much I still wanna learn from him [John Legend],” Will said.
“I love playing the song with you, this is so cool, ” Legend said. “Fire me up this morning.”
After his performance on The Voice, the coaches shared their thoughts.
“You just let me know where you’re playing after you’re done with this show and I’m gonna show up,” Clarkson told Breman. “That was incredible. It was like this was your show and everybody opened up for you.”
“It reminded me so much of back in the day when we toured,” Stefani. “The music lives inside you. You had to get it out. I loved it. It was so incredible, it was so electric.”
“You’ve shown so many sides of you as a performer,” Legend said. “and you have been so great at every round doing different songs and styles of performance, but this actually was my favorite performance.”
“That song was just perfect for your voice and you just slayed it,” Legend added. “The way you ran the stage and controlled the performance. It was masterful.”
Many fans took to Twitter to praise Breman. Many thought he was the best of the Top 10 last night. Many fans also vowed to buy his music and attend his show.
