Many fans want to know when Grey’s Anatomy is back on ABC. The good news is that the network has already revealed some of its midseason scheduling, which shows when the next Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 episodes will take place.
As viewers of the show already know, the writers ended the fall finale with several cliffhangers. This sets the stage for an exciting return in January. Typically, the program also reveals when it will return after the holiday break, but that wasn’t done until recently.

When does Grey’s Anatomy return to ABC?
According to ABC, there is still a bit of time until the new Season 15 episodes air on the network. In a press release, ABC revealed that the Grey’s Anatomy midseason premiere is on Thursday, January 17. The fun begins at 8/7c.
The Thursday night schedule is going to look a bit different this winter. Following the new episode of Grey’s Anatomy will be the midseason premiere of A Million Little Things, which is now moving to Thursday nights. The final time slot of the night will belong to How to Get Away with Murder.
ABC hasn’t really started promoting the midseason shows or episodes, so it could be a while before a full promo or episode sneak peek is made available online.
For now, fans of the show can still go back and watch the last few episodes, which presented a big cancer scare, some relationship drama, a wind storm, and Richard destroying a bar.
Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
