The Survivor 38 schedule has been revealed, even before David vs Goliath has come to an end. That will provide a quick turnaround time for CBS to start promoting the next installment.
The Season 37 finale date is Wednesday, December 19. That’s when CBS viewers will find out the winner of David vs Goliath, as well as if the exciting season has a few more surprises in store.
Then, it’s off to the races with promotion for the Survivor Season 38 schedule, which is all part of the midseason programming that CBS is rolling out. First up is Celebrity Big Brother 2, but that will quickly be followed by another season of Survivor.

When does Survivor return to CBS?
The Survivor Season 38 premiere is on Wednesday, February 20. The show will take back the 8/7c time slot that Big Brother: Celebrity Edition and The World’s Best controls to start out the midseason schedule.
CBS has also announced the Survivor Season 38 finale date. That will take place on Wednesday, May 15, followed immediately by the seasonal Survivor Reunion Special that same night. That’s roughly four months of action for the next installment of the program.

Season 38 has already finished filming, so there should be footage available to tease viewers with during the Season 37 finale.
Following the Season 37 finale date, it probably won’t be long until there are full-length commercials to get fans excited about the next cast. It also assures viewers that the Survivor return to CBS is coming along very quickly.
Survivor airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
