Two more castaways got voted off Survivor tonight. They immediately became the second and third members of the Island of the Idols jury. Fans got to enjoy two episodes leading to those results.
The first member of the jury was decided last week when Jack Nichting was blindsided at Tribal Council. Kellee Kim had given her Immunity Idol to Dean Kowolski, who used it to save himself. Jack then got voted out.
Episode 8 Tribal Council
It was another shocking vote at the first Tribal Council of the evening. It has almost become expected that CBS viewers are going to see a blindside each evening. For this one, it’s important to point out that Kellee found another Hidden Immunity Idol earlier in the episode.
At Tribal Council, Kellee felt safe enough to keep that Idol a secret. Again. It didn’t work out so well for her this time. It came down to a vote of either Kellee or Dan Spilo, and it ended up being Kellee Kim sent to join the jury.

Episode 9 Tribal Council
During the second episode of the evening, there were just 12 castaways left playing the game. This meant that there was a possibility of a split vote at Tribal Council. That could have made things pretty interesting.
There were several people at risk of getting voted out when they went there for the vote. Karishma Patel, Jamal Shipman, and Janet Carbin all seemed like they were going to receive votes.
In the end, it was Jamal Shipman who got voted off Survivor tonight. He became the third member of the Island of the Idols jury. Next episode, Jamal and Kellee will be shown sitting with Jack at the Tribal Council segment.
That brought an end of the night to the two episodes on CBS, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead to Survivor: Winners at War. We have what looks to be the Survivor 40 cast list ready for reading.
Survivor airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
