The Stumptown cast has another very recognizable guest star set to appear on the new episode.
The March 18 episode of the show is called “The Dex Files” and it is going to feature a new character named Major Elders.
Elders will come across the radar of Dex Parios due to the help of her former client, Jeremy Stevens (played by Robert Adamson). This is where things get really interesting.
It turns out that Major Elders has some key information about what happened to Benjamin Blackbird and maybe it will give Dex some of the answers she has sought for a while now.
Dex isn’t going to take the information at face-value, though, leading to a side investigation where she looks into what could be a coverup in regard to Benny’s death.
This is an important piece of source material for the show, especially given the love that Dex and Benny had shared. As such, the producers and writers needed to bring on someone who could own the screen with Major Elders.
A scene featuring Major Elders and Dex is shared below:

Who plays Major Elders on Stumptown cast?
Actor Michael Beach plays Major Elders and television viewers may immediately recognize him from quite a few different roles that he has played on television.
Recently, NBC viewers got to know Beach as Darius Walker during Season 7 of Chicago P.D. Walker was an intense character that brought a lot to the show and had Beach guest-starring in quite a few episodes.
Beach has also appeared as Ingram Rhoades on Truth Be Told, Nathan Ellery on Swamp Thing, Commander Percy West on The Rookie, Leroy on S.W.A.T., and as Charles Pike on The 100.
But those are just his most recent stops on television.
Beach also played Taddarius Orwell “T.O.” Cross on Sons of Anarchy, FBI Director Olsen on Crisis, and most-notably, he starred as Monte Parker on the NBC drama Third Watch.
Beach has also been in a number of movies, appearing as Jesse (Manta’s father) in Aquaman, as Miles in Soul Food, and as Frank Hurt in If Beale Street Could Talk.
Stumptown cast continues to be impressive
In addition to having Cobie Smulders (Dex Parios), Jake Johnson (Grey McConnell), and Michael Ealy (Detective Miles Hoffman) as the stars of the show, the Stumptown cast also features great supporting characters and guest stars that appear each week.
For the March 18 episode that also features Michael Beach as Major Elders, Stumptown viewers are going to get to meet actor Sam Marra as he plays Benny Blackbird.
Stumptown airs Wednesday nights at 10/9c on ABC.
