Lulu Antariksa was introduced as Penelope Park in the first episode of Legacies. Legacies is a brand new show and tonight’s episode is only the second one of the premiere season. The show is a spin-off show of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, and it follows suit with the genre.
Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) is a Tribrid, the daughter of a werewolf and a vampire and the granddaughter of a witch. She attends the Salvatore School in Mystic Falls, but she still has to deal with everyday teen life and control the power of living as the only Tribrid in existence.
While Hope seems to be one of the main characters, Penelope is also making a mark as an antagonist and a self-proclaimed “evil temptress.” She is Josie’s ex-girlfriend and was caught making out with MG.
But who is Lulu Antariksa, the woman behind Penelope?
Lulu Antariksa was born on August 22, 1995, in Los Angeles County, California to a German mother and an Indonesian father. That makes Lulu 23 years old. Her full name is Lauren Marie-Elizabeth Antariksa.
Other than Legacies, she’s known from What Still Remains, Impulse, T@gged, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Side Effects, and How To Rock. She’s also filmed ER, Monk, and Head Cases.
Based on Antariska’s social media pages, it sounds like she is very interested in the industry, learning everything about the work involved in movie making, including behind the camera.
On Instagram, Lulu Antariksa also revealed that she’s very thankful for the work she gets to do on various projects, including her short film Mirror. She wrote she’s delighted to be working as an actress.
Little is known about her private life. She doesn’t have a website talking about her personal life and her IMDB page is very limited. However, her Instagram page does give some indication as to her hobbies and her activities when she’s not working.
Lulu Antariksa has a few photos of her friends but she hasn’t revealed whether she’s in a relationship. However, she did post a photo almost two years ago, revealing that she’s grateful for her family. While she does post pictures on Instagram, they appear to be more promotional in nature.
At the moment, it’s unknown whether Penelope will become a recurring character on Legacies.
