Stone Lion Inn
Outlaw Elmer McCurdy’s travelled further after his death than during his life

This week on Ghost Adventures, Zak Baggins and the team head to Stone Lion Inn in Guthrie, Okla., where rumors of satanic worship abound and they also investigate what happened to outlaw Elmer McCurdy after he died.

The Stone Lion Inn is a bed and breakfast in the city of  Guthrie Logan County, Oklahoma, where the owner is said to practice dark arts and satanic rituals in the local graveyard…though it’s all part of the marketing plan right?

The gossip says she is heavily involved in the occult and Zak decides he wants to find out more. He meets up with the owner and he is eager to check out the basement as well, but he lets his guide go down first…you can’t be too careful!

Also on this week’s episode, the team look into the remarkable tale of outlaw Elmer McCurdy, who after his death in 1911 was embalmed and put on display at a  local funeral home. Later his mummified body was a feature on the carny circuit until it was eventually reburied nearly 60 years later.

Ghost Adventures air on Saturdays 9:00 PM on Travel Channel.
